What is chaos? Chaos is everything smashed together, all poles smashed together. All disparities put together.

This Is what India is, chaos.

To the outside world it is too many contradictory things Slashing and clashing. Many layers of civilization combined. This is what I wanted to show. My world. The world I live in, the world I see. The world that has touched me, the world that has triggered me.

The cosmos, or spiritual aspect is the driving force. everything essentially finishes or completes itself. Nothing really remains. The illusion is that we’re in a constantly changing world.

Therefore the disparaging images, therefore the fast movement, the polarities, the contradictions, the juxtapositions. The images are either beautiful or provocative.

The polarities of something antisocial, shady and then something which is spiritual, “kindness and cruelty” deceit and truth seeking. All these things are put together. It represents the constantly changing world we live in. Moving from the ridiculous to the sublime to the absurd in the blink of an eye. It makes for a very exciting journey, The images; for instance the bubbles, represent the illusions the maya, the whale, the fragile nature of existence, It’s a philosophical narrative talking about contemporary india.

We live in a world of parallels, rich and poor, spiritual and material. A kid is out on the streets trying to make a living, driving his horse drawn cart, while another kid is travelling across the world to do sports. There’s posh “city kids” fighting for the environment, and in the same city there are Farmers fighting for their basic necessities. There’s people who will do anything to earn a buck, and there's also people whose sole life goal is attaining “moksha”, and they’ll leave everything to do so.
